The Rats Tributes displayed herein are the result of many, many hours of work by a team of dedicated volunteers.

Information is not always readily available as records of service within the National Archives remain locked in substantial numbers.

The Federal Government has indicated that these will be made available over the next few years.

Records which have been unlocked are the source of much of the service related information we have used.

Details of the SOLDIERS' passing, location at death and good quality photographs are often difficult to find.

In other cases, information provided by descendants of the soldier is displayed.

We apologize for any incorrect data contained herein and invite you to submit any changes that may be required by contacting us via email.

The hi-resolution images displayed on our website are of the CWG Memorials in the middle East and European cemeteries.

These have been secured by the generous support and donations of Descendants of the Rats of Tobruk Association and the Descendants of the 2/24th Infantry Battalion groups on FaceBook.

Some of the memorials included are for non-Rats but were secured specifically for the unit or by a known relative.

We have taken the step of protecting these images by watermarking each image so that it cannot be copied and used elsewhere.
